factually incorrect. i've come across a bunch of people that make ocs from the same worlds together. there was a game way back in the lj days that had people need to make ocs from cards. i've also seen what i assume are friend groups throwing ocs on memes that they clearly made together, so while the genre 'oc' doesn't have castmates as a general rule, it's not true that some ocs might not have some cast from the same oc pool if a friend/rp partner makes a sister/lover/enemy for them.

and people outside of their OC friend group have no way of knowing that, so if they meant their OC friend group castmates and another greek myth OC tagged them is the other OC overstepping boundaries?

you realize if they were that anal retentive then theyd probably just play with their friends in closed museboxes right

people have asked bakerstreet mods to ban players who didn't do icon credits anon

i don't assume ANYONE on dwrp is chill enough for anything

defending the collective sanity of dwrpers isn't the hill i would choose to die on but ok

knowing there can still be fringe cases of insanity in any group and that they dont define most of us and thinking youre probably the crazies youre talking about if you sincerely subscribe to the idea that a single lunatic is indicative of the general population =/= insisting that everyone here is perfectly sane and functioning

disagreeing with the notion that probably most dwrpers are basically sane is a self-own

maybe. but they're at least stating their preferences, for their own friend oc cast and if they don't tag someone who's not in that group back, it'd be on that person who tagged them if they got butthurt about it.

if you actually pay attention to who's posted, you can see if there's a group of 'uses pretty pbs who are way too white to be the god they're portraying but yay, gods' posting together and that they're all tagging each other. it's on you if you get buttmad your xena char isn't 'canon' enough for them. live and learn.

omg I remember that card game, I tried playing in it for a hot minute but it was so hard to get established. fun concept though.

I was there too for a while. The mods were uptight assholes.
