i think we meant less the actual meme in question and more the "TUMBLR IS THE SOURCE OF ALL EVIL ON THE INTERNET" tone anons tend to get on around here as soon as its mentioned, like it's still full of the same bullshit that went to twitter ages ago

people here legitimately still act like we're in the age where tumblrinas pass around massive novel-length callout posts about someone saying something disagreeable two decades ago or shipping something Problematic. that's twitter now.

I was the anon that got the “tumblr is the chupacabra” comment and I wasn’t even saying tumblr is the root of all evil? I use tumblr daily. I just think blorbo is dumb. I wouldn’t magically think it was less dumb if it had originated on Twitter.
