not just wg. there's plenty of bad behavior in our mod inbox, which inevitably turns into a grudge when the mods don't act as the bad player's personal taskforce or entertainment dispenser

wg wishes it could see some of the crazy shit that happens in mod inboxes. we could feed the anon community for months if any of us decided to leak things.

Inbox and poor comod behavior were a lot more wild than anything that made it here

Back when I modded, it was a mix of drama that stayed quiet, poor comod behavior, and irrefutable proof that things anoncomms thought was "true" was a pack of lies. I do not miss the nights spent debating whether it was worth releasing info that would clear someone in the court of public opinion at the risk of admitting that we could see what people were smearing out in public. I was always pretty impressed by the mod teams that could find a way to put out official statements without outing specific details. It's a hard line to walk.

knowing the whole truth while popcorning the absolutely bonkers headcanon that gets spun here is the reason i miss modding tbh
