For me it's a tie between this and "how DARE you post event logs in a way I don't like" anon who got caught grudging two months in a row. There's this weird and wanky uptake in people bitching about activity, which could be easily solved by... minding your own damn business.

this is needlessly petty and stupid even by dwrp standards.

i've been in games in other rp communities where mods and DMs help their players get started. it's rather nice and supportive. i'm glad to see more folks willing to try out new techniques. it's a more direct and reliable way to get the info you need on players and characters for your particular game than the way dwrp's done in it in the past.

i never said anything i was complaining, just confused because i haven't seen it before. i'm still not complaining but i do have some concerns:
- it's only a single mod and that's a lot of tagging out to keep up with
- how is mod deciding who to tag and who not to tag?
- why are some of the least responded to characters not getting tags from the mod too?
- wouldn't it be better for the npc to have it's own account instead of just straight up using the general mod account?

i'm not trying to be petty, i just honestly haven't seen this before. i was one of the ones that didn't get a tag from the mod so i feel a little weird about it. i'll ask for one if i decide i'm for sure going to join but idk.

question, are you even reading what's going on in these threads? because on the ship, there are rules. and these ic rules are set by the npc has such as: no smoking on the deck, no minors at the bar, etc.

there are some characters that are smoking on the deck or at the bar, thus the npc shows up to scold them. and also there is a plurk where players are letting the mod know that their character is breaking a rule by linking them the thread so the npc can jump in.

i honestly didn't really read any one else's threads so clearly that was a mistake on my part. i don't use plurk either so whatever stuff is happening over there goes completely over my head. the only games i've ever been in have been databurst and noctium so i was just honestly surprised to see the mods rping this way.

please for the love of God don't start "b-but the mod didnt tag MY CHARACTER!!" wank if you ever end up in these types of games. I'm begging. it's the shittiest wank. I've been in plenty of games in the past with wanky cry babies that shit up the game because mods dont pat their asses and backtag their painfully slow/boring tags. the mods only have so much time to entertain before it's off to the next plot point. be an adult and empathize with the people in your game it's literally not hard.

I'm not apping but I love mod involvement like this. if you're reading come sail away mod I love what you're doing. really cute/spooky game idea. I hope your players have fun.
