I eventually started applying at games that either had zero close cast mates of mine so I never had to interact with them, or had no cast at all. This was pre A1 so it wasn’t very difficult to avoid people. Eventually I dropped the canon altogether because no one could ever accept they were allowed to add comic canon to their characters….which is exactly what ended up happening in the movies anyway to fill in backstory for a multitude of them. It was so exhausting to try and make interactions more than YOURE THE BIG BAD SO BE THE ENTIRE GAMES BIG BAD

like can I just play internet barbies without having to do a short villain arc and kill off my character in less than a few months? it’s amazing what cast mates want to box you into.

Y’all need to grow up and actually ask someone to fill in the role for drama that you want cuz villains don’t actually care this much about your MC and definitely WOULDN'T in an alternate universe such as a game.

yeah i've noticed some folks have a pretty big hate-on for loki. which is understandable from an ic perspective, because a lot of the cast has good reason to hate him, but sometimes i got the uncomfortable impression there was ic/ooc bleed going on (saw this a lot with tonys).

i will say that you really shouldn't be mixing comics canon with mcu, though, unless it's just fluff or was made mcu canon. that crit is legit.

before avengers 1? so he was just a one dimensional evil villain, and you were trying to use his comics backstory? eh. i see why people didn't like it.

...dude, he had less dimension in avengers 1 than he did in thor.
