three thousand dollars is not a reasonable expectation to hoist onto your friends and people who expect that amount of money (or more) are regularly and rightfully shamed for acting like entitled prima donnas who just want their special day!!! at the expense of everyone else

sorry for bursting yours, but this person is an asshole and there's probably a reason they've made a grand total of seven dollars so far

asking people to donate =/= foisting demands onto them to pay for a wedding. i said "help," nowhere did I imply people expect their friends to pay for all of it. if the person in the plurk does then that's them it doesn't take away from what i said which is that people help their friends out during weddings all the time.
