did you miss the entire thread about how awkward and dramatic every game gets if you say in your permissions you don't want to interact with a main castmate?? i hate WoLs and primarily play NPCs, i just realize g'raha as a character is extremely difficult to play in a situation where WoLs exist. you're just looking for reasons to get angry at this point

Do you know how aggressive WoL players get if you don't go along assuming they're the WoL your npc knows from canon? Not even saying you wouldn't tag them in a game with an NPC just that you would not align their memories from canon with the WoL player(s) in the game. It really doesn't end until the WoL player gets everyone eating their proverbial cunt playing along with whatever bullshit they came up with for their OC. So to sit here and yell at people for not wanting to engage with that is insane to me.

yeah, this pretty much. it's not difficult to play the character without caring about the WoL, the difficulty comes in how WoL players interact with you and throw OOC fits and make drama because you won't tag them or because you won't treat their special OC like they're the canon WoL.

the person in this thread screaming at everyone about how "easy" it is to play an NPC from ffxiv without interacting with a WoL has probably never actually tried to play an NPC in a game.
