239: how does one become popular on dreamwidth rp?

Please mark any spoilers clearly and try not to spoil stuff that hasn't even aired yet for people.

(Anonymous) 2022-03-24 01:03 pm (UTC)(link)anon(s) above, your script is: "hi, I'm enjoying our threads but I find it difficult to write tags when your character is always correcting mine. my character would find that frustrating and wouldn't keep talking to them. would it be okay to tone it down so they can have a proper conversation?"

(Anonymous) 2022-03-24 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)maybe something like, "hi, I'm enjoying our threads but I'm apprehensive how this cr might go based on your character's meta text. what direction are you hoping this cr might go in?" and leave the ball in their court. if they act confused, copy-paste examples from their meta text. their attitude will tell you all you need to know whether it's worth pursuing or not.
leave more or less specific concrit if you want nonny, but be prepared to just ditch the cr because sometimes it's not an legit ic issue, it's an ooc where were some people can't stand the idea they aren't right or aren't "winning" at rp. those kinds of people aren't worth your time and energy.
