yeah, and more often than not the person they say is bad was not at fault for more than miscommunication or sleight that they weren't even aware they'd made. look at who people are friends with and what those people say. i almost cut someone out who is a good person but a mutual said some nasty shit about them.

some people just don't get along. and sometimes someone can be awesome with you but a dick to someone else. it's best to just make your own conclusions about people and call out your friends if you see them being a dick to someone.

also generally a confusing response to a thread basically about how people should be owed access to others who avoid or have blocked them because MUH CLOSURE

if a mutual unprompted "warns" me about someone it's usually the mutual that is the issue

not to a lot of people out there. there's plenty who would sooner believe the mutual is innocent.

in a space like this where 9 times out of 10 the offending behaviour boils down to something fucking stupid and petty like "christy is a bad person because she doesnt play with me on the playground :(", that just makes plenty of people really stupid tbh

this isnt exactly a revelation i know, but still

there's many, many people out there who believe everything they hear and don't think twice about asking for details.

im not angry i was genuinely confused

the "fucking stupid" was just me repeating what i already said, not me being angry
