It's known because the mods didn't keep their mod helper account secure and helpers revealed that their IPs were all over it. Revu also misfired once or twice with the mod plurk account and people saw it.

What I find the most distasteful is how Pudding and Revu continue to lie outright to players by talking in their plurks wondering aloud what the mods motivations are, or trying to echo feedback the mods are getting that everyone knows they hate, etc. Please, just say nothing. People who know, know and you just damage your reputation by lying. You're making it worse.

people always talk about "quarantine zones" but noctium (and prisma before it) honestly feels like one too, despite its size

it feels like a quarantine zone for awful mods and for the obnoxious playerbase that always bandwagon apps to sex games and immediately proceeds to shit everything up, which has been happening for almost a decade, so it's not really that shocking that shit rolls downhill

between that and the fact that it's full of flakes idk why anyone would to play there anyway, even if pudding's brood wasn't in charge

Wow, okay. Anon, sorry you feel bad about those games. I don't think very many people agree with your take but your feelings are valid.

Personally, I think there are a ton of really excellent players and fun RP at both Prismatica and Noctium, mod bs aside. But to bring this back to the original topic, I was one of those people who saw Revu's misfire and I've been at the game since it opened. I wasn't the helper mod though.

"Prisma/Noctium players are flakes" and "sex games tend to get overrun by the same crowd" aren't really hot takes, anon. I wouldn't call those games quarantine zones but considering how often those complaints get raised here I'd say there's some kernel of truth to them.

DWRP is not an enormous community so I see familiar faces at every game, but I just checked out two sex-friendly games and I can't really say it's "overrun by the same crowd". But it does not surprise me that you might find a lot of familiar faces between Prismatica and Noctium seeing as they're basically a copy.

Not gonna lie, this smacks of trying to distract from the original topic by making inflammatory comments about the player base.
