239: how does one become popular on dreamwidth rp?

Got friendly with a player in a game we shared. We ended up talking a lot and got along well. We decided to meet up so I went out to stay with her and her girlfriend.

Mistake.

They were both disgusting overweight slobs irl. All the charisma the player had over text chat was just not there in person. She was weird and quiet and sly. It ended with them saying they were in an open relationship and liked to act out weird kinks while they pretended to be their rp characters. They hinted I join in with them.

Hightailed it out of there that same night. Drove hours back to my own state, it was too weird to stay any longer.

They're both well known in dwrp but not for this. Weirdest thing that has ever happened to me by far.

this made me think about the time an rp friend asked me to visit them at their place so i drove down and was a little surprised to see they were in one of those rolling walkers with a seat because of their obesity

i'd seen their selfies before and because they never showed their body i didn't realize how morbidly obese they actually were

well the meet up at their home could have gone fine if they didn't ask me to help them when they were in the bathroom

i made up an excuse that i had to leave and while we still maintained a friendly relationship online the friendship eventually faded but boy do i still occasionally remember that
