because people in the game do know, and will avoid their characters, which makes playing there difficult for them too if they want new CR. of the 5 pages of TDM top levels, only three people didn't get a single reply, and one of them was the top level gonsai linked in the discord.

it will surprise you to learn that many harassers do not think they're "really" harassing their victims, because they think what matters is whether they consider what they do harassment. sort of like you thought what mattered was that you got to create and mod a game without attaching your name to it, and the boundaries of the players didn't matter, so it's not harassment that you ACTUALLY DID CROSS THEM JUST DOING THIS ACT THAT WE ALL KNOW YOU DID.

the best best best part is that people who opted out of playing with you did so because you AT BEST annoyed the shit out of them in the past. it was right then and there harassment (unwelcome conduct that persists past the victim's attempts to refuse contact or which becomes pervasive) and stalking (unwanted and/or repeated surveillance by an individual or group toward another person) that you put yourself in a position in their happy fun times that they explicitly sought to avoid.
