hey fwiw im the anon who started the lifeaftr anon plurk callout (lifebfr) and i just want to add my two cents. i think letting people discuss in the plurk was important in having it spread and making the impact it did. i was hands off for most of it and just let the people making asses of themselves do it so they could be judged on their own. never encountered spam the way the ryslig anon plurk did, but that may be because it's all in name space.

also if you want to get visibility to the people who are most affected, reply to a jgk plurk during an active time of day with caps. lifeaftr mods quickly deleted the post and i suspect jgk mods will too, but it was enough to get some eyes on it initially.

wait what was the deal with lifeaftr?

tl;dr mods ganged up on a prospective player in a private plurk making them feel unwelcome to the game because they had loose connections with someone the mods had a falling out with

i made a sock plurk account so it wouldn't be anon (i am checking some other things first before posting the deets plurk) but i was going to disable replies anyway because i really didn't want to moderate a conversation, but that's a good point about namespace itself preventing spam.

i'll also pop into a jgk plurk with the caps that have already been shared. mods haven't responded to my screened comment, so....

please do this before the app cycle ends, im sure some of these people applying are unaware of gonsai’s mod position
