yeah after the porn ban it just became a matter of whether the post is tagged/reported as such

whole thing didn't put so much as a dent in the porn bots smh

all it actually did was make it so people have even less incentive to put any identifying labels on nsfw things, which like. sucks if you wanted to filter that stuff out of your dash in any consistent way

and iirc the newest mature post toggle feature thing is just yet another attempt to try satisfying apple's neurotic app content standards, whilst still not really changing much wrt the whole porn ban foundation

yeah ngl was getting ready for some good popcorn when izzy apped bc he’s the main blocker for the stede blackbeard relationship and blackbeard’s long time right hand man but they seem more than capable of shutting down their own ship and their cast without the izzy touching that hot mess w a ten foot pole. finally get a character we want and they’re fighting upriver the whole time to get anything done its so embarrassing

as someone not in the game who loves ofmd: never believe tumblr. izzy stans are like loki stans. izzy is very different in canon. he's a great villain, but he's also an irredeemable piece of shit, and his relationship with ed in canon is awkward and cringe af

agree some izzy stans are a l o t but i think the player in relation to this game handles him well. i love ofmd so it's been interesting to see them navigate the game premise
