it did. the long story short is i fumbled the ball super hard on a lot of things, and it got Too Bad, Too Quick for me to handle. i tried to pass off the game to anyone enthusiastic enough about it to do things, but one of the other mods went nuclear in the discord, and now there's just too much bad faith for the game to continue

i really want to know what "went nuclear" means

knowing bee's past behavior, the drop post being suspiciously comment-locked for a short time after she posted her drops, i can believe that the comments on the discord channel were made by bee.

it doesn't excuse gsai's behavior, but bee has been known in recent history to fly off the handle at the slightest hint of criticisms.

Yeah, Bee was absolutely a mod and was also the one who made the discord comments. Bee has a habit of telling people to DNI over the smallest slight, and people who had problems with Bee in the past constantly got iced out of getting information.

gonsai is pretending like the discord blowup is the singular reason people are upset and the game is collapsing around them

does it really matter though? other than "ok then bye," which can hardly be described as going nuclear, their comments basically just amounted to the same thing gsai reiterated on the closure plurk: doubling down on the mods remaining anonymous
