i thought they were technically hundreds of years old because they're the spirits of swords in that canon

it's the same rule as the "actually a 1000+ even though they look like a child and act like a child so it's fine it isn't really bad". midare acts like a child and looks like a child. they're a tantou and were there for shotabait. they don't physically look 17-21

i googled the character to see if it was really that nasty, and i actually underestimated how nasty it is

if i'd seen that in the plurk of someone on my tl it would've been an instant remove

so gsai obviously just wanted midare fucked and was going to go to any lengths to get it. got it. i don't care what you want to play but don't lie and say midare physically looks 17-21 because he doesn't. the tantous don't. don't put that on people

my comment (which i admit i can't back up with proof) was more to underline gsai's thirst for this character getting railed. the bad part is still saying midare is physically within a certain age range when he actually isn't.

at the time i had no idea how midare actually looked and behaved in canon bc i'm not into swords, so it was easy to brush off

but yeah if you don't know swords then its easy to not even think twice about what he's putting forth. as someone who knows the canon it really stuck out to me and made me uncomfortable that he was trying to sneak this shota into smut without someone else realizing what was going on

okay i just went and looked this character up because i was curious and are we talking about two different characters or something? because the one i'm looking at looks to be maybe 14-18, not "child-coded" or "shota" at all. they look like a character you'd find in a typical series set in junior high or high school.

they're definitely not 21 but they're also not a young child either.

if someone showed me this i would think it was a character from an idol anime and aren't they usually around 16?
