Re: GSAI / GONSAI

On the off chance that you're not gsai, here is all you need to know about why gsai (and the whole jigoku-cho mod team, who are gsai's friends) is a problem:

Gsai is chronically unable to accept that people don't want to play with them. In the past, people who have tried to opt out of playing with them have gotten harassed for it. Gsai's friends patted gsai's ass a bout this instead of telling gsai to chill and leave someone alone if they don't want to be tagged by gsai.

When it came out that gsai was a mod at jigoku-cho, many people voiced their concerns about this. One of the complaints was that if someone doesn't want to interact with gsai then they weren't sure if gsai was sticking by the 'do not interact' request because of anon mods, since gsai (as an anon mod) could interact with these players without the players knowing. The response to this concern (from either gsai or one of gsai's friends, it's unclear which it was) was "if you don't want to play in a game that might be run by gsai, then don't app to anon-modded games at all".

Then it came out that gsai (and the rest of the mod team) were using their mod powers to give all the plot to their own characters + their friend's characters, while cutting off attempts made by other characters outside of that small group of people. The factions were also being run by gsai + bee + min (who were playing the highest ranking characters in Tamamo, Shuten, and Sutoku respectively) and if you didn't have good CR with the right characters then good fucking luck getting to do anything in the game. When everyone spoke up about how that is really uncool and the mods needed a fairer and more transparent way of distributing the plot, the mods ignored that crit.

The mods (which, remember, includes gsai) also took players who were posting to the 'player plot' pages, said "hey you can do cool stuff", and re-wrote their plots to suit the mods needs. One thing that comes to mind was what happened to Aerith, which can be read here (https://jigokuooc.dreamwidth.org/13818.html?thread=1992442#cmt1992442), but tl;dr the mods tried to take a character death plot (that they had approved of months ago) and change it into a public execution, which the player had not asked for at all. This happened to several other players too, and when people voiced concerns the mods threw all of these players under the bus and said "It's not our fault things went wrong, we don't control player plots" when they had been re-writing player plots to suit their needs.

When people came together to talk about all of this and say "hey this isn't cool", the mods threw a hissy fit and closed the game instead of actually admit they had done something wrong. Gsai in particular was seen talking about how they "lost friends on plurk, through no fault of their own".

Also, I feel the need to point out that 90% of this is JUST from the Jigoku-cho blowup. But this is a pattern of behavior for Gsai, going back for over a decade. Different games, same behaviors. Gsai is selfish. Gsai is self-centered. Gsai will throw ANYONE under the bus to try to avoid taking the blame for their actions. They are a toxic asshole and will continue to be so for as long as people keep patting their ass and telling them "it's okay bb you did nothing wrong."

If you're not gsai and you're just commenting because 'you don't get it', then I hope this illuminates things for you.

If you ARE gsai, then take this as a reality check. You need to stop. You keep doing this same shit over and over again and this is why nobody wants to play with you.
