back when I was a silly teenager I had an almost-sailing ship with someone in a game. we were both really excited about it but I got busy IRL and had to drop, then dropped all contact with people from RP for a few years.

they were a cool RP buddy and I found out later that they were worried when I disappeared. I was a silly self-loathing teenager that couldn't fathom anyone worrying about me, but sometimes I see their name floating around and want to slap my 2012-2013 self for being oblivious and insensitive toward a nice human
