i have a very petty grudge against someone in the ljrp days who complained about how hard it was to get cr in our game, but when i offered to rp with them they completely blew me off. i don't even remember their name but it did teach me to take accusations of game cliques with a huge grain of salt

there is someone i loathe from ljrp days because i now recognize that our relationship was pretty much abusive - i was a teenager and they were an adult in another country, and they would suicidebait me constantly, deride my RP, tell me that my friends were talking about me behind my back, say that they didn't really consider me a friend and talked to me out of pity, etc..

the suicidebaiting was really bad too, i just remember them casually threatening it over shit like me saying i had to go to bed because it was a school night and being guilted into staying up for hours to play therapist for them. although now that i think about it, it wasn't really therapist, more like massaging their ego by telling them how smart and talented they were, people love them, and so on. not to mention that while they had no problems demanding me to listen to their issues at the drop of a hat, any time i tried to vent or talk about my problems, they'd always turn it around back to them. it's been over ten years since i cut them off and i found out later that they immediately started approaching our mutuals as a concerned friend by letting them know that i was talking behind their backs, mocking them, and other shitty things - the same tactic that they had used on me with my friends they didn't like.

ironically, after them being dismissive and condescending about how my tags weren't really that great so i should be honored about receiving theirs in return, they're constantly tagging my characters on memes without realizing that it's me. i just ignore them because i want absolutely no interaction with them, not even to tell them to fuck off and never tag me again.

i guess we're just assuming the cartoon stank rubbed off on wankers who play both then, like milk

i wanted to get offended, but then i remembered all my issues so yeah

they don't want you snide fuckers to bust in and "well, actually" them

I think they seriously don't bother looking because only THEIR meme matters. A little narcissistic.

she randomly accused me of godmoding her character. i was confused and asked what exactly she meant. more accusations, no deets. i asked for a link to the thread where i godmoded because i honestly didn't know what (or even which character) she was referring to, and got back that i was making her "uncomfortable" by continuing to respond to the angry ooc messages she was sending me.

note: she didn't mention anything opt-out related, she just told me to stop godmoding but wouldn't tell me what specifically i'd done wrong or link to where i'd supposedly done it. i was an anxiety chihuahua who would have apologized profusely if i had really godmoded by accident, but i had no clue what she was talking about and reviewing recent threads didn't enlighten me. closest i got was my character inviting hers to join in with something plot-relevant and maybe she interpreted it as being forced to join in? but her character could have easily said no.

anyway not wanting to cause her more "discomfort" i obliged and immediately ceased replying both ooc and ic. petty shit from a decade ago, still would not rp with her again if she reappeared.

honorable grudge mention to the micromanaging ij mods with their multiple activity spreadsheets, including one tracking how many times each player tagged each other player because liking to write with some people more than others is a sin.

i've caught anon_jigen doing it, but i wouldn't be surprised if many meme posters are equally careless.

cdc, indirectly. i was only in it for the tail end last two-three months the game and at first i blissfully played without any idea of the background wtfery. next thing i knew, half my plurklist was at war with the other, PA digs and vague plurks abounded, and conspiracy theories about mod identities and How CDC Ruined My Life plurks were rampant. it got unbearably toxic oocly and people i'd otherwise known as chill until that time went completely off the rail.

There was a toxic mod I was friends with, obviously I didn't realize how bad she was at the time, but I got caught in a wankstorm because I stood up for her. It's only hindsight that I saw how much she messed with me and turned her into an attack dog. Stiiiiill upset about that.

cdc, but kind of the opposite to the above anon. i dropped well before the end when i got the first sniff of the mods being unhinged. the passive aggression and micromanaging and general asshole-ness made my short time there awful. never had a game experience like that before or since.

cdc is a perfect example of how not to design or run a game, and it always shocks me to hear that people at the end were going to bat for the mods. i know they earned the favoritism so it was very much a "fuck you, got mine" situation but goddamn. the mods were on a trek-level of making no effort to hide how much they hated their playerbase.
