they would have to pay closer to $40/hr to make up for part time hours that don't qualify for company or state benefits. those are miserable jobs that people barely break even on transportation money for, which is why the positions are always open.

a dude i know just flopped out of his $35/hr job because he got a gf who made more money, so he figured it was fine to stay home, drink, and play video games while mooching. they're a tiny minority, but there are real life actual people who would rather light their dignity and independence on fire and throw them in a pile of shit than work, even for good compensation

yeah man lemme get on an insurance plan and pay $300 a month for shit coverage that no one takes because i can't afford the $600 a month decent insurance costs rather than finding a job with insurance built in, great plan
