i've noticed that once milk is done shipping with a character or player negative comments like this start to pop up about them.

this exactly. if someone came up to me to ask why i'm not tagging them as fast as someone else, i'm not sure what kind of answer they're expecting but it's certainly not going to be "oh, i see, that's unfair. i'll make sure to tag you faster."

9 times out of 10 there's a reason why i'm not tagging a thread back as quickly and it usually boils down to 1) that particular thread requires more thought/mental energy than the threads i'm tagging back quickly, OR 2) it's new cr so i'm still working out how my character feels about the other character versus other threads with other characters where the cr dynamic is already established, OR 3) i'm just not feeling the topic of that particular thread at the moment.

someone i was tagging (what i thought was) fairly regularly on psls PMed me once saying they were looking forward to my tag cos they saw i was boomeranging on tfln at the time, and boy when i say i lost all interest in tagging them back entirely after that

people who disappear for the weekend to boomerang on tfln are fucking annoying, though, you don't even have to stalk to notice that. i have game and psl partners who do it after spending the week saying they'll be free for threads on the weekend and then taking on 50 tfln threads and accomplishing nothing in games or psls.

they had psls with tanuki with their other character if i remember right. anon might have gotten dirk and the jjk guy mixed up.

juu was the one who got the in-game ship, but milk had a bunch of psls going with tanuki and seemed very into dirk/junpei

TIL. Here we had AP classes for overachievers and gifted classes were for the developmentally disabled and extremely violent kids (but "disabled", "special needs" etc. were considered taboo to say for some reason). I've been very confused about the way some people use the term gifted.

I'm not sure I'd say that checking in with someone to ask if they're still interested in the cr is weird though? That seems diff. than a "omg why aren't you tagging me" pm which would be weird

Also the people who take forever to tag back in games but still put their new shiny on tdms

but if the only reason you're questioning if they're still interested is because they're tagging other people back faster than you - as opposed to a thread going in a weird direction or something - i do feel like that's basically the same thing

i don't think they'd need to outright say it for the other player to figure out op's issue, if there's nothing else going on that could have prompted that concern

I brought this up in rpanons some posts ago, but I dealt with this somewhat recently. I picked up an old muse after their series got rebooted. Prior to this, I mentioned several times on my plurk that I wasn't sure if my interest of said muse will be as strong as it was back then because of the 3-year gap between the two series and my tastes had changed.

I decided to throw my old muse at one person in TFLN, but I didn't top-level or anything because I was at work (and also that day, I was beginning to feel under the weather - so I ended up dropping the thread). A person on my plurk who played a canon mate wanted me to top-level in TFLN or a meme on bakerstreet, but I told them I was at work, and I was starting to feel sick, so let's try again later. And that person found my 5 comment thread I had with the stranger and threw the biggest temper tantrum. I stopped interacting with them after that.

No one in this community of titfants is going to hold an adult conversation about likes and dislikes when it comes to CR. They're going to shake and cry in the corner like middle school anxiety chihuahuas and beg their friends for buttpats.

yeah tanuki and milk had multiple mpreg aus they wouldn't shut up about. milk did have a polyship in game with junpei and cee's twink but it wasn't with dirk, it was the aborted cursed fetus jjk guy. not canon familiar, that's how they described him.

milk has gone on to rant about how disgusting/triggering pregnancy is and how awful and ooc all polyshipping is and how much they've been burned by it so some drama must've gone down.

milk always seems to be going on rants about former ship partners and rp partners. i think there's 1 thing all of them have in common but milk isn't going to look in the mirror any day soon.

Dirk/Junpei was an in-game ship in Gsai's game before it imploded.
