tbh this isn't the first time jade has depicted a character as having a quirky drug abuse tendency

obviously dazai the real person did have struggles with that, and i know bsd isn't known for tactful portrayals of these subject matters, so i'm curious: if you're canon familiar, how is dazai's addiction to painkillers treated in bsd?

not quite though. it's more a gag than anything else, and translated to rp, shouldn't be taken seriously considering. but that's besides the point ...that the player has been toxic along with alisa? can we get deets?

yeah jade can definitely be enthusiastic with the smut and you may not like the characterization which is fine, not gonna yuck their yum or w/e, but i've never noticed them being toxic (anywhere they can be publicly seen, at least)?

He doesn't have one. It's suggested he drinks a fair amount, but Jade's portrayal exaggerates it beyond recognition.

weren't people just name dropping her as alisa's main shipping partner in the game? in my experience, alisa's shipping partners are usually the main targets of her eventual harassment whenever they stop being fun dispensers for her.

same. the last time i saw someone on the tdm for one of my games who i had had bad experiences with in a previous game in regards to them ignoring boundaries, i went straight to the mods with screencaps and explained the situation and the mods let them know they weren't welcome there. from what i heard from other people they bitched a lot about it but they never found out i was the one who reported them.

unfortunate. i kind of suspected that might be the case because she portrayed feitan the same way, which suggests it's just something she's personally into

and i get that we all have our own preferences when it comes to rp, but it becomes uncomfortable when it's a subject as sensitive as this, esp if she actually looked at the real man's struggles with his health that led to his dependence on painkillers and decided that would translate perfectly into this

i don't know much about bsd but i do know that dazai is basically a walking trigger warning for suicide, that's why i always avoid that character when i see one around.

your duty as a writer is to stick to canon in a game, and extrapolate from that. that's the point of this hobby. drug addiction is quite something to hop on for fun... it's a very real issue for many people here, outside of here, and in life in general.
