nah, i've never even been in expi. i expressed interest in it once and those friends advised me against it because of the problems they'd run into with the old mods.

haven't heard anything but positive stuff about the new mods, though. that's why it's weird to me that everyone is trying to make excuses about why they won't go to the mods if these people are really as bad as everyone is claiming they are because from everything i've heard, these mods are actually reasonable.

calling it grudgewank is a reach when the criticisms leveled at her are accurate. she hasn't changed in years. i've also seen identical complaints about her and beth and their group in namespace.

it's not grudgewank if it's a years-long pattern that continues to this day. it'd be one thing if this was ancient history that had no relevance to the present, but that is not the case.

so is zenless zone zero as bad as gaijin impact or honky wallet rail

i want to say yes given how blatantly fanservicey it is even compared to those games

i was in the game when it first opened. i ended up dropping because i didn't quite find the way i interpreted the premise lined up with the gameplay, and i didn't really want to wait a few months to find out if it'd still be that way once the advertised premise came into play.

that said, the original mod(s) were - in my experience - reasonable to talk to, receptive, and friendly with the player base. not in all cases, but i've generally found "difficult and uncooperative" is a complaint thrown around when people don't get their own way in a conversation or interaction, which, like... having interacted with some of the people being spoken about here (mostly jade, my interactions with alisa have been minimal), is something i'd level at them rather than the original mods.

Because Jade is tight with them, and Alisa by extension. When you know the mods are good friends with the wankers, while they should be impartial for player’s sake, we all know that’s unlikely to happen.

People aren’t willing to end up targeted by Alisa’s unhinged behavior.

I don’t get this. Mods aren’t AI or corporate trained customer service drones. Unless the mods were really mean or something, sometimes people don’t click. It’s normal. Just because a few people didn’t vibe doesn’t mean Jade’s behavior was right.

fwiw the mods remained friendly and receptive when i messaged them with screenshots. they would've addressed the Alisa issue if she didn't drop so incredibly fast after i posted here
