I remember a rando requested membership to a private comm a friend and I were using for our ship because she wanted to read our other “fic”. She found a few of our threads on BS and just assumed it was like collaborative fanfic.

Every once in a while someone wanders in who seems to think that dwrp is a place to request fanfic, like the old fandom challenge comms that were popular on LJ and they start commenting around. Genuinely no idea how anyone finds us without being directed here tho, especially now that search engines are even more garbage than ever.

the tone of the new stuff is that the old stuff sucked
