This whole campaign has had a really weird tone to it and I think there’s more to it than pel is a sensitive baby

like someone has been trying to get people to spill something for months and it’s this weird game of hidden gossip chicken

there's likely more to it than pel being a shit, but i think bringing up pel's issues is a good thing since a few weeks ago everyone was saying shit like "there is no pel wank", it means pel can't hide anymore

i have raised questions about and politely criticized mod choices in the game plurk before and pel hasn’t removed me from his friends list or axed all of our cr.

he's probably just getting pissier about it now

and just checking his list now i see several names of other players who have criticized mod choices publicly and privately. honestly you guys will just believe anything that confirms your preexisting biases about anything about this game, without bothering to check easily verifiable facts first.

i'm not pel's biggest fan either but imo it's a good move on his part to curate his space if he can't stay impartial

TBH, I will believe some players might have come forward and been courteous and reasonable in their crit, and others might have been aggressive, entitled, and/or rude while either acting totally innocent or actually being blind to their own shit behavior.

In general nobody is entitled to stay on someone's plurk list, even if that someone is the mod of their game.

tired of the mods getting namedrops while we tiptoe around the actual problem: jade. it's jade. the mods can do absolutely nothing right in her eyes. she has spent the entire year complaining to her close cr and friends that she invited in, and then those people are the ones who carry her complaints forward to the mod team, or who repeat them in their plurks.

not to say people can't have their own criticisms or that the game is perfect, but we've all seen before how having little pockets of space for disgruntled venting can turn a few normal problems into a group of players who feel actively angry and persecuted.

jade continually gets rapped on the knuckles publicly by the mods (eg her plot submissions around wanda's powers, her event questions, her plot coin submissions). jade has actively removed mods and canonmates because she wanted to be able to vent about the game without them seeing it. she has grudges against multiple people brought up here. jade has also been bitter about nikolai because he wouldn't ship with her zoya, and complained she can't get traction with the npcs in this game the way he does. a whole lot of this thread feels like jade or people who have been lovebombed by jade into taking her constant discontent as the gospel truth.

not sure everyone is tiptoeing around it, i didn’t know about any of this because i have zero cr with jade’s characters and don’t have her on plurk or discord. maybe because my characters aren’t fuckable enough to hers, idk. but if it’s true then yeah, it does explain a lot of the wildly bad faith interpretations on display in this thread.
