i don’t disagree with you (about to fill out a captcha now on this post) - the real issue is that people were finding out after the AC period had already passed and they’d already moved their stuff to overflows. imagine having 9 comments on a thread you’re enjoying and planning to continue tagging and then being told because moved it to your inbox you now started over and needed 15

i also agree AC is easy and if they’re waiting until a meme on 8/31 it’s too late but was just pointing out that earlier anon was misrepresenting whining about the amount of AC (laughably easy) when it was really lack of clear communication

like i said the mods clarified it tho, so now it’s just lack of reading comprehension

People whining about not getting to use proofs split across multiple posts need to put themselves in the place of doing AC. Does link1 and link2 add up to 10 comments from X character all posted within a specific range of dates? Does link3 and link4 add up to 10 comments from Y character? So on and so forth.

And maybe think twice when whining about what counts for AC if you can't reliably make it, or if you're the type that's barely even active in your capped cast.

but like you said, it's been like it for close to a year (if not a year) and the mods did clarify what does/doesn't count for AC after the month they changed it (and didn't announce they'd changed it).

but it's not a new thing, and fibber only rolls around once every 12 months. it's not like captcha is a routine problem people have to deal with in the game.
