As a trans person, I have noticed more trans people being willing to overlook transphobia directed towards transmascs than transphobia directed towards transwomen or transpeople in general. It's the same as how in the rare instance we get a trans character, most of the time it's a transwoman versus virtually no transmasc characters. In the rare instance we get one of those, it's probably someone pretty in an androgynous way with a buzzcut.
There are layers of misogyny and transphobia to peel back, and all of it sucks.
