i will never understand the level of hate 'yaoihounds' get around here. fandom's love for yaoi laid the groundwork for the lgbtqia+++ ally movement, and timeless artistic triumphs like loveless and gravitation led to widespread acceptance of queerness in mainstream entertainment. yaoi fans were pioneers of queer acceptance, and yet we still shit on them like they're the foaming-at-the-mouth paddle-wielding sasunaru fans they were fifteen years ago.

it's been so long that i guess it will never truly go away but i wish it would.
