sure, i think you're right that the mods were probably intending it in a sympathetic way, but otoh it comes across a lot more like dismissiveness of her actual (overblown) issues. there's a middle ground where the mods weren't intentionally being assholes but still landed in asshole territory.

honestly, from everything ive experienced in two decades of journal rp, the occam's razor answer is almost always utterly abysmal social skills.
