thanks for clearing it up. i assumed that was the case based on her behavior around that time and the fact that she suddenly stopped talking about returning to lab when she seemed really into the game, but didn't know for sure. i remember seeing she had a lot of responses on her tdm comment, but i'm guessing there was enough bad blood there that would have prevented her from coming back.

Having tagged with the Barcus player they're actually pretty fantastic. He apparently is a favorite in the game so far.

barcus wroot is a fully fledged character with a consistent presence through all 3 acts of the game and several main story quests. he has internal morals and will argue with the player character. baldur's gate 3 fleshed him out with a complete arc. it leaves no gay gnome behind.

This is mostly right.

She apped back in and was accepted, players reported concerns with her returning to the game, the old mod team said they discussed these concerns with her and she made the decision not to return on her own. Later that day, the old mod team tried to close the game.

So she's not banned, but her decision to not return happened before the new mod team took over. But yes, she can't come back and I doubt she would want to.

now the mods don't have to deal with somebody they clearly didn't care for, and now the player doesn't have to play in a game where the mods would be hostile to them
