da but the distinction matters in this case

in a game i would tag castmates regularly and make plans with them just as much as with crosscanon

in a meme i wouldn't tag castmate tls because i'm not interested in them and would prefer crosscanon. i don't really care to see if deku and todoroki would cuddle up for warmth or eat at denny's together. i want new people.

Exactly, I would not ignore my castmates in a game but on memes cross-canon is my preference.
