nah, you made this fucking bed and now you get to lie in it. this whole thing was bound to explode in the first place so you don't get to whine about how it's getting to be too much now.

they started all of this, put their character as the figurehead of it, and now they're upset that people are questioning said character about how it'll work and how they plan to enforce it? it's a justice system, of course people are going to ask you how it's going to work/what contingencies you have if people disobey it

and afaik the answer for all of those people's questions was essentially "trust me bro" and "we'll get to that part later" if you don't count the ooc saga yelling at everybody for asking questions at all. literally a concept of a plan

the big thing to me is that it seems like the arthur and saga players are legitimately pissed that the rest of the game isn't just falling in line and talking about what a good idea all of this is. as if the characters themselves should all just say "yup wow you're so smart, let's do this immediately" instead of, idk, acting like themselves? being difficult or headstrong or coming from backgrounds where they would question things based against their own experiences, etc. this would've done way better as a "hey, what do you guys think about this" network post where ideas and thoughts could've been exchanged icly, not a wall of legalese nobody is allowed to critique

i'm canonblind to arthur but he's coming off arrogant and unprepared, not cool, controlled, and open to suggestion. saga sounds nothing like her canon self and more like the player so that's a whole separate matter

The Saga player also plays Vincent who started this whole mess so huh, wonder why Saga is super gung-ho about the bill of rights and why it's a great idea (said no one ever).

I CAN say that some of the responses from characters was OOC for them, but tbh those characters are just OOC in general so that's not a surprise.

however, that's not everyone in the damn post, so I don't know what Maniette's on about.

tbh all I know of Vincent makes him writing this entire bill of rights thing ooc anyway, considering it's not passive aggressive or smarmy at all. dude spends the entire game gaslight gatekeep girlbossing, thinking everybody else is stupid, and embezzling money. unless there's some gambit at play that benefits him he shouldn't be giving a fuck in general

I'm more familiar w Saga and she should be asking questions too, given that her whole thing is looking at an issue from every angle, being patient and thoughtful, and y'know being a member of the fbi. she should know better than anyone about how a system that holds power over people can be abused and therefore want to approach its implementation slowly and carefully. granted I didn't finish alan wake 2 and it's an incredibly fucky game so I fully admit I could be wrong here. she absolutely doesn't sound like saga tho

This is classic danii tbh... She'll come up with some idea she thinks is genius and insist the only way her inmate can make progress is by everyone wholeheartedly supporting it. When in reality it'd make a hell of a lot more sense for a char to grow by working with other people and learning from criticism, but that is not the danii way

i think a lot more people roleplay with AI than are willing to admit. think about it.

the ai never says no (so long as you're using an uncensored/jailbroken model), never has 'mental health' days, is always willing to play your favorite kinks/ships no matter how ~*PrObLeMaTiC*~, never gets distracted reading fanfics or playing hoyoshit, will never flake on you, and will never run to wg to vaguepost about you whenever you tag someone else or don't immediately boomerang their blorbo.

i think that's where a lot of the recent behavior is coming from. people are getting too used to always getting their way 100% of the time. it's the same reason people won't buy commissions anymore. why pay $40 for the opportunity to wait 3 months just to get draft sketch and then be told the artist is going on hiatus for mental health reasons after their mom's neighbor's cat died?
