People apping characters who would ICly be very active and get involved in everything, then doing nothing except making small talk until they hit the ac minimum.

when interacting with npcs is vital to getting anything done but most of the mods playing them don't tag back for weeks

kind of inspired by one of the above anons but
it boggles my fucking mind. why in the fuck would you join a horror game if all you're going to do is wibble over your delicate precious baby and complain about all the trauma and how it's all just ~too much to handle~ because they've ~already been through so much~

When players promise to get through their tags at least four times a day...

Then apologize daily for not getting to them all.

And I'm still waiting for mine 3 days later.

I'd rather you not say you're doing your tags now, no wait now! No wait now. It makes waiting for mine less stressful.

when someone begs me to thread with their jerk character because they ship our characters/have AC to make/need CR!!! and while plotting they're super excited to DO ALL THE THINGS!!! but during any actual threads their character does nothing but call mine an idiot and snub them every chance they get. then they get pissed and PA when my character walks away because he isn't going to let someone call him a dumbass over and over again. so much fucking hate.

My characters lie to others or provide wrong information or make mistakes on purpose. Not to make your characters look more awesome when you rub their nose in every little thing but because they are human beings and they have flaws.

It's also not because I, the player, am stupid or out of character. I don't need to be corrected in my plurks by some busybody taking pity on me.

the same players who get an average of 100+ comments per post with any character they play, and then whine consistently on plurk about no one wanting to rp with them

If you're going to infomod my character, you might want to make sure your canon information is up to date. Otherwise your character ends up looking rather stupid when he looks at a picture and incorrectly guesses my character's family situation.

Trying to tag people and blatantly having them ignore my tags while they continue to tag everyone else in the thread. If you don't feel like our characters mesh, then at least have the balls to tell me.

The people in journal-based games who don't hide their ooc posts.

Not lock them, but back/forward-date them and click that little 'Don't show on reading lists' box.

Newbies to DW/journal-based RPs are excused, but that's it.

When another player is stalking your other threads so their telepath character can know everything yours is thinking...without even OOCly mentioning it until you ask why their character keeps mentioning things that your character wasn't even thinking about in that thread.

Infomodders playing telepaths are obnoxious as hell.

We had a handful of players from a popular fandom who were great with tagging out, building crosscanon CR, so on. Then their cast got bigger and now all they do is cast shenanigans and hijack the game chat about their feeeeeeels.

Kind of sucks.

when you get me hyped up for a thread and then it takes two months to get four tags in while you're rapid-tagging other threads in the same game (most of the time newer) and other games and simultaneously plurking excitedly about it and the precious pairings happening

i'm more inclined to drop your ass and pursue other endeavors, jesus christ

at the very least i'd appreciate a message saying you want to focus on other things. i don't even mind that. i don't tag in order of tags received but jesus christ. throw me a fucking bone. if you're not as interested in our thread as you are other threads that's fine BUT FUCKING TELL ME.

when the app standards are so inconsistent that whether a friend gets in is entirely dependent upon the mods mood and when they get to the application.

asking a question on the game FAQ almost a month before apps open, only to get the answer two weeks after they close, while questions AFTER mine from people who I know personally know the mods get answers within hours...
