and that's understandable when you are dictating who you are allowing into the plot. but if you allow someone who plays a powerful character in, or maybe not even powerful but has an ability that can really effect the plot, you should be reaching out to them to ask questions and work things out if you're willing to have them be involved. if they won't budge on their character's powers, then fuck them, they don't need to be in the plot as far as i'm concerned because it would ruin it for everyone. but at least have the common courtesy to talk it out with them instead of just dictating to them that they are powerless. work out between the two of them who wins the struggle, whether it be the villain or the good guy coming out on top.
I've been watching someone who plays close CR to my character do this same damn thing. They then whine at me when I try to infodump at them about what my character's been doing hoping it might ping theirs into having something to RP about.

I, personally, blame Funk for T9's death because of his MASSIVE opposition to capping the number of apps and rallying people against the mods that wanted to go through with it.
lbr I think it's a stretch to say Funk's directly responsible for the death. The game had many and varied issues all over the place and they continued after Funk was gone. But he certainly did not help.

But when they start to change the motivations (and kind of, personalities) of OTHER CHARACTERS to suit their version of canon, it makes me angry. While Mondo is a rough kind of guy, he's not a bigot or a transphobe just because they want him to be.
