though personally I'd prefer Zodion's plot

iirc, they had volunteer sign ups for this back at the end of february/beginning of march, so it seems like this is something that's been in the works for a while

either way it is an eerie parallel

yeah kinda side eyeing it

also it always kinda bugs me when mod characters get center stage in a big mod run plot. always been kind of a silly pet peeve.

i volunteered my character hoping to really get involved but alas

yeah i know a lot of people who did. so it bugs me even more that a mod character got a slot instead. :/

Uh... So what? Do you really think that every mod in DWRP is friends with each other or is in the same chatroom, and they brief each other on what kind of plots they're having when? I'm pretty sure that if there are any plot run-ins it's completely unintentional and you're bitching about things that don't need to be bitched about. I don't think not!!! amat!!! has been a problem for a good year and a half, either.

i'm so bummed that not only does this plot ruin plans for characters who have birthdays this month but it's also not my cup of tea at all. :(

the zodion mods seem be good at that. i had plans at the beginning of one of their events that i'd been gearing up to even before the event and ended up having no choice but to drop them when they were no longer valid.

yeah this event pretty much fucks up all the april birthday plans i had and was really looking forward to doing. my butt is so hurt.

Me too, anon. Me too. My friend and I both sadfaced a lot over this because we can't do our plans anymore. :( Did the mods even consider this?

At the end of the day, if the mods wanted to do a month long serious event it was going to end up falling on some month and messing with someone's birthday plans. It's unfortunate, but the alternative is that Zodion can never have long plot events, which I don't think is what people want either.

It sucks that it's messed up your plans, but it had to happen at some point. Maybe try contacting the mods and see what they have to say?

Unless they plan to put the entire plot on hold for me (lol) then there really isn't anything they can do about it. If they want month long plots maybe one that's hard to opt out of wasn't the way to go.

We've known there was going to be A HUGE PLOT in april for months now, so for you to make plans despite that is really your own fault.

wait, where does it say anything about disrupting plans? I see other people making worship logs despite the plot and the ooc post says that the characters will be left alone and they’re just searching for the temples. it doesn’t sound like much more than that so I don’t think you need to consider all your plans ruined—just ignore the plot and do them.
