there's not really anything beyond what the anons here and in that thread have said. i'm personally uncomfortable with him and find him kind of creepy, but it's more of a gut feeling unplaceable creepiness than anything i can give examples of, so i wouldn't say that counts as deets.
i like how both of them just HAPPEN to know some kind of martial arts on top of their other abilities. the second character in particular is really ridiculous with a completely nonsensical backstory.
