- don't spam atp character ads with your game, this just annoys people and increases the chance of your game never getting off the ground or being more than a small game.

- if you decide to do a different format than most of DWRP, like prose only, journal based, power loss, random factor decided upon acceptance, don't back down from this. one of DWRP's problems is that it's stagnating due to all the games being samey so they try to appeal towards everybody rather than tell people that maybe they aren't a good fit for the game.

- don't make the setting overly complicated. try to get it explained on one page with a couple of paragraphs and a separate page for locations.

- get somebody who can code stuff for you.
