From what I remember, not only was Reimu's voice really stilted and boring, but the player was pretty clearly a huge neckbeard. Like, at one point he talked about going to a con and how he got body pillows of anime characters and stuff.
It was weird playing his castmate as I pretty much spent the whole time only tolerating him. He was never so terrible I needed to do anything about it, but my experience in the game would have probably been entirely the same if he hadn't been there. He brought nothing to the table.
honestly wished to crit the guy, but I had two problems stopping me. first was Reimu being a character I just don't understand and the second was that I couldn't think of anything glaring besides "YOU ARE FUCKING BORING"
then there was the con loot post (which i think he posted in all games he was in)
More than boring, it always bothered me that his portrayal of her was really fucking flat. I also know for a fact that him being there stopped at least one from apping because they didn't want to have to play with his Reimu.
