kouga's not as bad as spandy or rhys, but she's permanently stuck on brain-damaged yaoi fangirl mode, and all of her characters are either bland doujin stereotypes or complete balls of what-the-fuck. also incapable of playing anything other than "please ravish my sweet presh babbu" at ariel.

+1

her oc is the worst kind of yaoi stereotype. if he gets through that stupid spider post without falling on at least one cock i'll be surprised.

speaking of the spider post, a content warning at the very bottom of the post when the picture is linked near the beginning is less than helpful

i'm only mildly afraid of spiders so my reaction was more of an "oh shit" and closing the tab, but i feel for any arachnophobes who blundered into that link unexpectedly

(Anonymous) 2013-04-14 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
no it's not

the link is at the bottom of the post

it's literally two lines above the ooc note

(Anonymous) 2013-04-14 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
people usually read posts from top to bottom.

as in, the ooc note and content warning would be read last, while there's no description in the post itself to indicate the link leads to a huge picture of a wolf spider.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
it's literally right below the link

sorry your precious feefees were endangered

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
but it... didn't really bother me? i literally just said that.

i'm just saying, having the warning for a link at the bottom rather than next to isn't all that conscientious. tons of people are scared of spiders, and someone reading from the top down might click the link without having read the ooc note first. no need to get asshurt.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
you also said that the link was at the top of the post and the ooc note was at the bottom, so you've already proved that you can't read

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
"near the beginning" isn't the top of the post. the link is actually in the middle though, so neither of us can read.

shitfuck stupid semantics argument aside, "the thing on it (cw: spiders)" would be clearer and people wouldn't be so likely to blunder into the link unprepared.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
go back to tumblr and take your cw with you

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
you sure are butt devastated about content warnings, aren't you.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 12:30 am (UTC)(link)

this whole thread is just embarrassingly tryhard on both sides.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
hey it's not my fault kouga's getting defensive

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 07:02 am (UTC)(link)
holy shit you mean a post about a spider... has a link that leads to a picture of a spider???

look I'm all for ragging on kouga but seriously?

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
i'm just saying, there's no indicator within the post itself up to the very last line that indicates what people are going to be clicking on. it's just common courtesy not to let people walk into that unprepared.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
but the link is practically the last line of the post

jfc how can you be in a reading hobby and hate reading so much?

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
how can you say that and not have apparently read or understood anything i've said multiple times here?

did a linked spider kill your family?

it's okay anon

you can tell us

(Anonymous) 2013-04-15 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
yes it was tragic

someone didn't content warning appropriately and made an orphan of me
