Probably for this exact reason. Because assholes would have told her she's a lying whore and at the time she couldn't even go to the mods because she was on the modteam.
Wait, what? She couldn't go to the mods because she was on the modteam? That doesn't make any sense, that's all the more reason to sit the other mods down, have a chat, and do whatever it is she thinks the current mods should be doing. I'm kind of confused here.
That wasn't phrased well, my bad. I have no idea if she went to the other mods privately. I just meant she probably didn't come out to say it publicly because she was on the modteam that was being told to step down and it probably would have just led to accusations of lying and whining that she was being told to leave and making herself the victim.
She did step down though. And the moment she voiced an opinion, even if it was a whiny one, it started up again because apparently her stepping down wasn't enough until she was forced to leave the game for her mental well being.
Sorry, but that's pretty fucked up. When she's not a mod anymore, and the majority of people disagree with her opinion anyway, and it's up to the new mods to look at the poll and make decisions... just ignore her. Someone's seriously got a personal grudge here and it's fucking gross.
That makes more sense. And yeah, it is pretty fucked up. I think most people were just ignoring her, or expressing their disagreement more or less calmly. That's what I saw, anyway. It just takes one psycho to make things terrible, though. In this case, leaving the game is probably best for her, since a crazy asshole with a personal grudge who does everything anon isn't something that's easy to catch or stop. It sucks, but that's how it is.
