Please for the love of GOD give me some crit. I don't want asspats, I don't want 'omg baby you're doing so goood!', I want actual crit. I know I'm fucking something up somehow, based on post reception, and I want some goddamn crit.

In the past, I've had really good success at directing people toward giving crit. Where do you feel your weaknesses are with the character? Giving people a springboard is a good way to encourage crit. It's also a great way to indicate that you've got things you want to improve on, and will help break the ice.

Well, I worry that they're becoming a bit bland and one-note. Also, I play LCWs so I realize that they don't have the added draw of castmates, so I try to make their posts interesting but then I wonder if I'm trying too hard, and so on and so forth

OH AND ALSO my helpful anon friend, how do you ask for crit without sounding too desperate? Because I worry that I end up sounding way too desperate whenever this/a hmd meme/things like this come along.

Remember that some people don't know the canon too well or just personally have no issues. I've always found C&C's HMD to mostly be devoid of asspats. There are a few players who will go around and asspat almost every round, but in comparison to other games we're definitely better about it.

I think I would just add some notes about current things you've done in-game or not done. You might also want to reach out to new CR ICly to help shake things up a bit.
