People asking for help or advice then completely ignoring it is my #1 pet peeve both offline or on. I seriously want to punch anyone who does this because it is beyond rude. It shows how much they just really don't care about anyone else.
Asking for advice doesn't obligate the asker to act on it. They should acknowledge it, yeah, and be grateful as long as it's genuine advice, but they don't have to follow it, because advice can be wrong, or inapplicable to the situation, or something they've tried already.
That's understandable, but more often than not I just get told HM NOPE GONNA DO WHAT I WANT AFTER ALL and ignoring everyone else and not even commenting on it, or if they do, say we're all just dumb. It's amazingly frustrating.
