You're right. Loki wouldn't antagonize any of them, but he certainly wouldn't become chummy with any of them, either. He'd keep quiet, and manipulate in the background.
Exactly. You can play a proper villain without having them turn violent. You just need to keep in mind that they're a fucking villain who, in this case, doesn't get along well with other people and hates humans.
