because an unsourced quote with no date is solid evidence. i haven't seen this come up in the jp fandom myself and i can't find the post this person quoted.
even if this is authentic, there's still the matter of when it was posted. was it before the visual fanbook and/or the sequel's release? because both outright confirm chihiro's gender identity.
