I think "handful" is generous but we do have two that I wouldn't be horrified to see take the reins.

Maybe that's the best we can hope for. I feel like anyone with any real sense wouldn't touch the mod-ship of this place with a ten foot pole.

everyone says stuff like that, but i honestly don't think modding coa would be any worse than modding zodion or amat? we have problem players but our wank is mostly contained here, and we've never had anyone thrown out of the game or rapetrolled or gorespammed or anything like that.

i guess thats why people dont want to mod here? they dont want to have that type of shit go down during their watch because that can be a blow to the mod self-esteem. plus that type of shit is awkward and difficult to resolve. 'someone just got trolled with rape threats/images of gore on anon because they play here. is it the other players? do we address this somehow? what if people keep saying its x?'

Thankfully, those votes are in the minority. I'd be fine with her as a list mod, but not as a head mod. She's shown that she does not have good judgment or a thick skin for dealing with wank.

I hope Lark and Jade at least try it on their own first. I've known quite a few academics in my time and the sane ones are the minority. I also don't think that having a psychology degree automatically means you have a thick skin.

I'm sure I'm going to get a ton of people whiteknighting here like they did last post. But she still makes me a little twitchy and I can't figure out why. I always seem to end up feeling talked down to when I try to do something with her.

That's exactly my point. Having the degree doesn't mean you have a thick skin. You can have a thick skin and a psychology degree. But that's kind of like saying I have a degree in English so I'm a fantastic poet. You could be true but it doesn't automatically follow. Psychology is a very broad field.
