So sick of Eliot. All he seems to do is show up just to boss people around and then vanish again until next time. It's okay to be busy/not super active, but don't do that and then expect everyone to see your character as a leader the same way you seem to. Wish it was IC for my character to ask why the hell they should bother to take orders from him.
It's IC for my character to do that but I was never sure if Eliot is supposed to be doing this, like if it is approved by mods/other Resistance leaders. I don't want to step on anyone's toes (I'm still pretty new to the game) so I pretty much just wind up ignoring his "call to arms" and doing my own thing :/
yeah, I just scroll, but coupled with OOC comments like the above, it's really become grating to me. The other resistance leader types all seem to put a lot of work into it ICly and OOCly, and/or are pretty active and involved characters so it doesn't bother me at all if/when when they make announcements or take charge. But it feels like Eliot just shows up and expects people to listen to him without making any other effort. :\
