And this is why I don't want EV to be set in a city. There are so many horror games with a city setting already. It's overdone and it'll mean that the setting changes from being basically a prison, to being a much larger space filled with hundreds of NPC native residents. An empty city, more like Abax or Haven, would be preferable to me for that reason, but that's not what's being suggested here.

but it's not going to be permanent. after gamma there's going to be another setting which isn't in a ship, and frankly, given the limited resources in the ship i'm sure some of the characters will appreciate what a city can offer, even if it's just bigger residences or better food or something. seriously i am so confused about why people are so butthurt over this.

As someone who does wish people will calm down about this: no, it's not permanent, but it is going to last a year. A year's kind of a long time on the RP scale, and it's understandable that people who aren't excited about it don't want to have to wait a year for another chance at a setting they might like better. Just saying.

i don't understand where the issues are coming from when we go to another setting every two months anyway. and there's so many events that there won't be time to sit down and do nothing most of the time. as far as i'm considered the setting is going to change the flavor of the events some and keep things from getting stale and that's it.
