anybody else have serious issues with the Naruto cast? I'm canonblind so I can't say what IC or not so don't say "boohoo take it to the HMD dumbnon", but they're just....really making me side-eye the whole fucking thing. Feels like they've taken over the whole fucking game with their drama, too.

Nothing juicy by WG standards. They're insulated as fuck because of the drama that started with their Tsunade pretty much outing them all to Team Rocket who wanted their heads already, but it spills out to their CR and the rest of the game. The CR I get, that's the whole point of having CR in the first place, but it's just so "loud". Yeah, yeah--scroll past and get some ointment for that buttchap.

Doesn't help that since Obito keeps trying to get Sasuke to...fuck all I don't know, deal with his issues or something and Sasuke keeps having breakdowns or "mope on the dock" fests about it, which really gets old fast. Also another Uchiha just rolled in so there's even more drama with that cast. "THis is the song that never ends" is the feel I have, honestly.

is there any other way for Sasuke to act? I wish Obito would just cool it already christ.

is that even IC? Might be worth bringing up in his HMD if it's not.

it was an unnecessary move and probably not IC at all. feels like he just wanted to immerse himself into sasuke's problems, take over as his big brother. seemed to me to be more of a stunt for drama than anything else. keeping a foot in every ninja's business i guess.

Years out of canon, same as anon below, but while the Obito I remember from the K-Gaiden story cared about his comrades, it wasn't to this level.

I'm personally a little surprised there was enough material to put together an app with from how little screen/page time he had. Unless I missed something after quitting when Pain attacked the village.

+1 because yeah I don't think he should be so concerned about his Uchiha cousin because iirc the Uchiha were kind of shitty to him for not having his magic eyes, but there's been a lot that's come out recently about Obito post-Pein so.

The post-Pain Obito is pretty different from the pre-Pain one, though. Not sure if that counts.

Post-Pein Obito helped in the Uchiha massacre. idk if that helps :|a

were obito and his cousins even shown to be close in canon? i mean, the clan was large but it seems like obito seems to feel some super strong connection to sasuke and itachi when i don't remember it ever being addressed.

no clue, haven't read naruto in years.

The kushina seems to be pretty nonexistant except for interacting with her cast, which bugs me.

could say the same for that...used_bubble guy. whatever his name is--I think he's a filler arc character. Or did he get eliminated in an AC lately?

I don't get why bowser finding them is such a big deal.

tl;dr sasuke blew up bowsers clown car during 4th wall last year and bowser has held a grudge ever since

the longer version is that sasuke started taking him seriously when something targeting sasuke ended up hurting sora instead, then got spotted by bowser during the tower raid so he ended up having team rocket painting a big target on him

it blew up when tsunade posted and painted a target on everyone associated with sasuke and the ninjas have been paranoid about it, and now they think they had good reason to be because bowser found them by chance at olivine city a few weeks later

after that it doesnt seem like anything big has been happening with that so it looks like whatevers going on is dying down

I think it's more that the cast was treating it like every Rocket was out to get them rather than it just being Bowser that has a weird grudge. The Rockets aren't Bowser's personal army so I'm not sure how justified that perception is icly or oocly.

sounds like a concern worth bringing upw ith them? maybe they can help give a clearer picture and if theyre wrong they cant change past posts but they can work with it oocly for the future, from what i can tell they mostly seem open to crit

There was some discussion over the weekend between the cast about finding some sort of conclusion to the whole Rocket thing, though I'm not too sure what that will be exactly. I dunno the whole story, I sort of stepped right into the middle of it all when I joined but I know my fellow cast members are trying to find ways to open themselves up once again! Also we're all open to discussing stuff and have HMDs up if anons have any problems in particular.

I guess it hasn't affected me as much as some since Naruto is not the type of person to start hiding or locking every post just because some guy shouted at him over the network.

it just seems like they're overreacting. there are more of them than him and if he's doing stuff that publicly they should be able to point him out to the gym leaders, or even suggest the gym leaders use him to sniff out team rocket because he is fucking obviously a team rocket member

you know solve their problems in a common sense manner rather than running around like chickens with their heads cut off

hell, isn't sasuke part of that anti team rocket league or whatever?

doesn't this sound like the sort of thing they could actively use against team rocket rather than the big pile of ridiculous that currently is the situation?
