I put in a metaplot request with their new system on the day they announced it. So like, in March.

I've emailed the mods and posted another comment to the entry as a reminder but I still haven't heard anything back at all. More than a month later.

I know they've had all sorts of shakeups and shit with new mods and whatnot but I think this is getting ridiculous. I'm kinda getting ready to just say fuck it and drop the game because of it. So I was just kinda wondering if this was happening to anyone else who put in a request.

We know smaller, single player metaplot was overlooked as we tried to work out the larger scope, and quick return on individual requests still waiting will be our focus now as we wrap things up with the Scylla.

it took them a few months to get to one of my plots, but i wasn't in a rush to get it approved in the first place so i was fine with the wait. if you have any urgency to get a plot approved maybe you should email or contact one of the mods directly? siri is pretty good at responding back.

Now the mods know who would rather bring a minor thing like this to wankgate than approach them directly (pm or plurk). Anon, no. Why do this?

looks to me like they tried directly approaching the mods through proper channels after their initial request went unacknowledged. how many times and through how many means should they attempt it, or how many months need to pass, before they're allowed to be frustrated?

I'm in the same position here. I'm not in a rush to get a response back, but not even an indication that they've got it?

I even remember one of the mods saying something on plurk along the lines of how they were going to get to all the requests on the metaplot page about a week or so after they announced the new system.

I like the setting and the cr I have, but it sure does feel like the mods don't care.

this is part of the reason why i dropped, tbh

not necessarily for metaplot but because the mods were impossible to talk to about anything as far as world building/departments/meta stuff goes.

i wanted to play a proactive character but if the mods are still like this they make it an impossibility.
