Last post the EV thread talked about which members of the Doctor Who cast were cliquey. I'm assuming anon meant that.

really? how odd. They haven't seemed cliquey to me at all. Then again I suppose that could be because I've only tagged with two of them, so I don't have the experience to say. Thank you for the information, though!

if you actually read the thread though, it's not so much an issue of being cliquey but more that a large amount of the cast is really inactive.

I call bullshit, because in Week 20, I've counted 10 Doctor Who characters participating in at least 18 threads, both network and log.

And that was just me eyeballing it.

How exactly is that either cliquey or inactive?

i don't know if this is the case for the dw cast but you can be both active AND cliquey.

Okay you guys need to make up your fucking minds. First it's that they're cliquey. Then it's that they're inactive. Now it's back to cliquey again?

As for cliquey, do you think those 18 threads were all cast-only? How many threads do you think they make?

i specifically said i was a da and don't care about the cast. all i wanted was to point out that you're wrong about being active = not cliquey

It wasn't my original intention to address the cliquey bit. I was arguing against the not active part.

though some of the cast may have thread that thread, i have seen a couple of them tagging out more since it was made.

I'm still confused about the Rory. Are they a notorious flake and threaddropper or what?

The numbers do not back you guys up. I'd hate to think I wasted my time counting because you guys want to ignore the facts so you have something to whine about.

and which numbers and facts are those? which characters? who were they threading with? when that thread in rpanons was made, 10 had only just intro'd which was said in the thread. 18 threads between 10 people? that's not a lot.

furthermore just because they were active in week 20 (and that doesn't mean they won't drop non-castmate threads) doesn't mean they were all throughout, and doesn't mean they're not cliquey. there are a few members of that cast who will pop up with brief spurts of activity and then drop them.

As I said, this was just information I gathered from eyeballing a handful of threads. If you want more information, do the work yourself.

That or you're noticing them more because the thread made you think about them. LIke when you finally learn someone's name and suddenly realize how often your paths cross.
